The symptom you probably have
A clunk when you shut the engine down is the classic sign that the coupling element has gone. After that you lose hydraulic power, or the pump stops driving altogether. Worn couplings also show up as vibration through the machine before they fail completely.
Check the spline count
Two couplings that look the same from the outside can take a different spline count, and one will not fit the other's shaft. Count the teeth on the old coupling, or send us a photo, and we will match it. Coupling sizes are not interchangeable between machine classes.
